My sister, knowing how much I love sailing, asked me to join her on one of the early retreats that Sheryl was running. It sounded exciting. A women only retreat, with holistic experiences that covered sailing, yoga, wellness, and fantastic food. I was excited. But it didn’t prepare me for the amazing time we had. Sheryl held us all and led us, bringing out strength resilience and friendship. She is the most amazing talented lady I’ve every had the opportunity to meet. What she can’t turn her hand to isn’t worth doing. Her skills in sailing, providing the most amazing food miles out to sea, doing yoga, playing games, journaling, and in the most beautiful part of the world. Snorkelling, walking, rivers, picnics, fishing, dancing, laughing, crying. I loved every minute…. And booked again. Honestly if you are reading this, and you can book (as it gets sold out quickly as the word has got out now) then do it without hesitation. Honestly you won’t regret a single moment.

I sailed with Sheryl as a solo traveller & cannot speak highly enough of this experience! This is a women’s retreat on a beautiful catamaran sailing Queenslands gorgeous coastline & blue waters. You don’t need to bring a friend along to feel comfortable as you are welcomed into this amazing sisterhood. The days are spent with yoga, meditation, swimming, beach walks, eating beautiful healthy foods, sharing stories, laughs….even sometimes tears. It’s a connection & soul experience. I quickly became friends with all on board & loved this experience so much I booked again bringing my sister along. I shall book again as I feel this journey gave me ‘my time of selfcare, healing and reflection’. 10 out of 10. Thank you Sheryl 💕

Sheryl offered an amazing experience with the space to do your own thing or be involved. Assisting with sailing the Catarmaran, learning new skills and enjoying the fresh open air. The food was amazing and lots of opportunities to explore different islands. I had a fantastic time and hoping to go on another one in a year or two. I highly recommend and they are small intimate groups which allows for a more personal and connected experience 😊

Sheryl is more than the hostess with the mostest. Sheryl opens up her boat as a container for women to share openly and authentically for healing through laughter, dancing, play, yoga, intentional conversations and so much more. Her meals are nutritionally delicious food for the soul. I can not recommend Sheryl’s retreats enough.

I had an amazing time on Shequest sailing retreat in May 2025. I would highly recommend. I sailed with such a lovely bunch of inspirational women. The food was next level and the boat was beautiful. I felt relaxed and at ease and Sheryl was an amazing host & captain. A truly memorable experience where I made friends for life.

As the sun rose over the mystical waters around Far North Queensland, I found myself on the threshold of something truly transformative—an adventure with SheQuest Sailing. From the moment I stepped aboard Last Resort, the stresses of everyday life faded, replaced by serenity and excitement for the Palm Islands, where Sheryl took care of every detail – wholesome provisions, enriching meals, guided yoga and meditation. Though I travelled solo, I found a tapestry of connection. Each woman brought her own story and together we became a crew, sharing adventures snorkelling, hiking, and heartfelt conversations under the stars. Sheryl’s retreat is more than a holiday; it’s a transformation. Her nurturing spirit and commitment to wellness and skill-sharing build true camaraderie and lifelong friendship. SheQuest Sailing fills your soul with adventure, calm, and kinship – leaving you ready for new horizons. Thank you, Sheryl. 10/10, unforgettable.

Just do it. That’s what I say.
If you’re craving a retreat that truly caters to what you need, one that nurtures your soul, lets you breathe deeply, and gives you the freedom to do as much or as little as you like, then this is the one for you.
Picture this: the turquoise waters and lush islands of northern Australia, a yacht full of like-minded women, and a week of adventure, connection, and deep restoration. Whether you’re drawn to yoga at sunrise, sailing through pristine waters, snorkelling vibrant reefs, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, or exploring waterfalls and national parks, this retreat has it all. And the best part? You’re in the capable hands of Sheryl, a skilled and intuitive sailor who makes every journey feel effortless.
I’ve been lucky enough to join several of Sheryl’s retreats sailing around Magnetic Island, weaving through the Palm Island group, and discovering the beauty of the Keppel Islands. Each experience has been completely unique, yet every single one has left me wanting more.
There’s something magical about these retreats. Maybe it’s the laughter shared over fresh, delicious meals. Maybe it’s the quiet moments on deck, watching the sun melt into the sea. Or maybe it’s the way Sheryl curates each journey with such care, creating space for joy, reflection, and adventure in equal measure.
As a returning guest, I can say with confidence: these retreats are something special. Sheryl has a gift, not just for sailing, but for creating an experience that speaks to every woman on board. Whether you’re seeking connection, solitude, or a little bit of both, you’ll find it here.
So if your heart is calling for something more, more nature, more laughter, more you, listen to it. Just do it. You won’t regret it.

These trips are special in so many healing and extraordinary ways. I have explored some amazing seas, reefs and islands off Queensland, built on my limited knowledge of sailing, made friends for life and been throughly nurtured and uplifted through nutritious food and the gentle approach of Sheryl and other incredible ladies I have had the privilege of retreating with. My first trip with Sheryl was so uplifting I have done several since and have another booked for next week!

Sailing with Sheryl is as good as a sailing experience could possibly get. Sheryl is extremely knowledgeable about how to operate the boat and therefore you always feel that you’re in safe hands. Furthermore, she’s such a good host, it’s like your own mother is looking after you again. She shares recipes and tips and it all seems effortless (but it’s not) The morning yoga, the in depth conversation, the water activities all add to an experience you’ll never forget. I highly recommend to book a trip if you want to nurture your body and soul
